Some factors to consider:-
Ensuring that learner’s needs are assessed
Ensure the specification of the technology meets the learner’s needs
Ensure the technology is easy to use, accessible and assists. Does it make a difference?
Support is provided throughout the installation and ongoing support is provided
Correct training is provided
Technology is running and correct – no downtime!

What I found interesting about the case studies was the importance of friendship, which I think is something that perhaps may be overlooked. When students are asked about the things that are important in their experience of education one factor appears to be important above all others – friendship.
