Hi, I’m Katharine,  

I’m a Lancashire Girl; but have lived in Staffordshire, West Sussex, Hampshire and now in Northamptonshire. I love all things to do with travel, film, music, theatre, exhibitions, galleries, architecture, cooking, gardening, wining and dining, web design, jigsaw puzzles and suduko etc. I enjoy swimming, rowing, running, walking and yoga. I enjoy anything that expands the mind, enjoy visiting places of interest, historical places etc and am a true bookworm, reading at least one book a week. I’ve recently learned how to play pool and snooker. I’d like to take some golf lessons next.

I’ve been studying with the OU since 1999 and have worked for the OU as a Management Consultant and Associate Lecturer since 2006.

I work for my own Management Consultancy Company – SkillKick where we focus on kick starting the lives of people and businesses with new skills.

This blog is being kept as I study for the MA in online and distance education with the OU.
